Rockstar confirmed GTA 6 will cost $79.99 (Standard) and $99.99 (Ultimate) — the only two editions, both fully digital. There is no Collector's or Special edition, and for the first time in the series there's no disc: "physical" copies are a download code in the box, available from Nov 12 to support pre-loading.
Every pre-order includes the Vintage Vice City Pack (a '55 Vapid Stanier & garage, retro outfits & hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a Tommy-Vercetti-style weapon pattern). Digital pre-orders also get a free month of GTA+. The Ultimate Edition adds exclusive vehicles, two mod shops and the Classic Car Collection.
Rockstar revealed the official cover art for the first time, refreshed the logo, and announced that pre-orders would begin June 25. The cover confirms dual protagonists Jason and Lucia front and center.
After an earlier window, Rockstar confirmed a firm launch date of November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version is widely expected to follow later, but has not been officially confirmed.
Rockstar's official YouTube channel left a cryptic "Consider us busy June 25th" comment, fuelling speculation that a third GTA 6 trailer lands alongside pre-orders going live. Rockstar hasn't confirmed a Trailer 3 — treat it as a strong hunch, not a promise.
Widely-circulated rumors suggest a far bigger online mode with larger lobbies and persistent player-run criminal businesses. Rockstar has not detailed the online component yet.
